Arthritis Pathway to 5k
Managing an active lifestyle while dealing with arthritis issues can be challenging, but it’s not impossible. Our Arthritis-Friendly Walking Program “Arthritis Pathway to 5k” is designed to help overcome these hurdles and achieve fitness goals. This comprehensive program includes four informative workshops and a supportive social walking club to guide participants every step of the way. Whether you are aiming to walk or run in the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell 5k event, this program provides the tools and community support they need to succeed.
Registration Information
- Workshops, Tuesdays 12-1PM
- September 3rd – Mobility, Stability, 5k Progressive Plan
- October 1st – Light Strength Training
- October 29th – Recovering from Soreness
- December 3rd – Raceday Prep
- Social Waking Hours 9/3/24-12/7/24
- Mondays 11-12PM
- Tuesdays 5-6PM
- Thursdays 11-12PM
- Fridays 5-6PM
- Free for Members
- Free for Guests with proof of Jingle Bell 5k Registration
Must email [email protected] to sign up.
- Non-members must present race ticket confimation to front desk to gain free entry. Entry good for designated social walking hours & workshops only.
- $15 day pass is required for additional use of the facility.
