Group Fitness
If you enjoy working out with other people, Indianapolis Healthplex offers a variety of group fitness formats to meet your needs. With over 50 conveniently scheduled classes each week, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. If you’re new to group fitness or if you have any previous injuries or contraindications, we recommend arriving early to your first class to discuss with the instructor. Whether you’re new to fitness or a fitness expert, we have a class for you that will challenge you and leave you with a feeling of accomplishment and camaraderie.
Group Classes
Group classes include high intensity classes such as HIIT, body pump, cardio CrossFit, hip hop step, Zumba, indoor cycling and more. Low intensity classes range from aquatics and active adult classes, yoga, Pilates, arthritis classes and more. Check out the group fitness class schedule below.
Specialty Classes
In addition to the variety of free classes included in your membership, we also offer specialty classes for a minimal fee due to the additional equipment needed. Some of our specialty classes include:
Pilates Reformer
Pilates Reformer is strength training on the Allegro Reformer machine. This workout uniquely targets different muscle groups while maintaining core control, making it possible to change the shape of your body. Benefits of this class include increased core strength, sculpted legs and arms, lean shoulder muscles, and improved body awareness and posture.
