Indianapolis Healthplex offers a variety of yoga classes for members of all fitness levels. We also offer private and semi-private yoga lessons that are customized to the needs of each individual.
Yoga Classes
Yoga
A yoga class is a group session led by a trained instructor that includes warm-up exercises, yoga postures, and breathing exercises. The class ends with a relaxation period to release body tension, providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals to deepen their yoga practice and enhance their physical and mental well-being.
Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa is a method of yoga where movements are synchronized with the breath. This practice uses a progressive series of postures and special breathing techniques that warm the body, building heat to detoxify muscles and organs and leave you feeling relaxed and energized at the end of the class.
Chair Yoga
Chair yoga is a form of yoga that is practiced while sitting on a chair or using a chair for support. It is a gentle form of yoga that can be practiced by people of all ages and physical abilities, including those who may have difficulty standing or balancing. Chair yoga includes a variety of yoga postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises that are adapted for the seated position.
