Newly renovated and updated aquatics facility with a six-lane lap pool and temperature-controlled therapy pool
Water exercise offers numerous mental and physical health benefits and is a great choice for people who want to be more active. The Indianapolis Healthplex aquatic facility features an 89-90-degree therapy pool and a 79-80-degree six-lane, 25-yard lap pool. Our highly trained and certified team includes Indianapolis’ most knowledgeable and experienced aquatic experts. We offer a variety of aquatic programs for all ages including water exercise, swimming lessons, a swim team, and aquatic personal training.
Masters Swim Team
This adult aquatic fitness program is open to triathletes, competitive swimmers, and fitness swimmers. It is directed by a coach on deck who provides expert advice in training technique, stroke mechanics, and goal setting. Healthplex is a registered US Masters Swimming Site. You may start at any time.
Schedule
Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 5:45 a.m. to 6:45 a.m.
Tuesday/Thursday: 6:00 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

Aquatic Fitness Classes

Low Intensity
aqua arthritis
A low intensity class that focuses on stretching, range of motion, and endurance. This class is great for anyone with joint or muscle pains as well as joint replacements or surgery recovery.
aqua ai-chi
A water movement & relaxation program that focuses on the integration of mind, body, & spirit through deep diaphragmatic breathing & a progression of flowing movements.
aqua yo-pi
This class works on core strength and muscular fitness. It is a great combination of Yoga & Pilates!
boga yoga
Yoga while balancing on a BOGAFit Mat in the Lap pool. Must be unafraid to fall into the water.
