Youth Group Swim Lessons
Intermediate
This is for children from ages 4 to 12 years. The objective of youth lessons is to build on the skills learned in previous levels. Treading water and coordination of the front and back crawl along with the introduction of breaststroke and butterfly are included in this class.
Beginners
Preschool is for children from ages 3 to 5 years. Youth is for children from ages 6-12. The objective is to help students feel comfortable in the water and enjoy the water safely. Children will also learn the fundamental skills of swimming, including floating and locomotion.
Parent Tot
This is for children from ages 6 to 35 months. Parents and children learn together to increase a child’s comfort level in the water and build a foundation of basic skills, such as arm and leg movements and breath control.
Adult Group Lessons
These classes are geared toward teens and adults that are just learning how to swim or are ready for the next level, including learning the strokes. Students will progress at their own rate while learning new skills and refining their existing skills. In the Level I/Beginners class, only basics will be covered. The Intermediate Stroke Improvement level is for those swimmers ready for work on their form.
Private and Semi-Private Lessons
We also offer both private and semi-private swim lessons. Children must be three years old to participate. Please notify your instructor of any change in schedule at least 12 hours in advance to refrain from being charged for a missed swim lesson.
